We spent New Year Eve at Rose Island which is located an hour sailing from Nassau. We were able to watch the numerous Nassau New Year's fireworks from our anchorage. It was quite a show. The Richard's family was with us.
On a célébré la nouvelle année à Rose Island qui se trouve une heure de voile de Nassau. La famille Richard était avec nous.

Anchored in Great Harbour Cay on the second night of our arrival to the Berries. We invited our friends, Jim and Amanda from Adventure Bound and Dave and Dona from Magic for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. You can see Adventure Bound sailing vessel anchored behind us.
We stayed in this anchorage for a week waiting for good weather i.e. wind in the right directions to go to Nassau. We had time to do some great snorkeling with our friends. We ate lobster and conch fritters purchased from the local fisherman. What a deal on lobster tail....8 lobster tails for $10.00US. What a feast we had.
