This is a picture of a bed and breakfast courtyard in St-Augustine. It is quite old but so well kept. I just loved to visit this town.

Here we are having lunch at Harry's in St-Augustine. They have this outside terrace and you are surrounded by huge trees and all kind of tropical plants. And the food is just fantastic and not too pricey.

Here is Palm Beach Florida. We are anchored overlooking these high rise buildings. It is quite nice around here.

Ginette is soaking up the sun. We are at our anchorage in Lake Worth.

We are finally in Lake Worth Palm Beach. Arrived here November 19. The temperature is between 16-18 degrees. A bit chilly. We are hoping for warmer weather by next weekend. It still beats the cold back home.

Paul is cooking a storm for the crew. We're having Barbie ribs, yummy. It's November 12, again the weather is beautiful and it is a nice night to eat in the cockpit.

This is a picture of the Castillo de San Marcos in St-Augustine. It is quite old built in 1672. It is over 400 years old. The Spanish settled her in 1565 and is the oldest continuously occupied city of European origin in what is presently in the US. St-Augustine and Florida remained a European colony for the next 256 years. For a brief period it was governed by Great Britain at the time of the American Revolution. Spain regained control of Florida in 1784 and remained until 1821 when the United States took possession of the entire peninsula.

You can see the outline of the dolphin in the water almost touching the side of our boat. It was quite fascinating watching them.

Dans notre passage de Beaufort NC à Charleston nous avons vu beaucoup de dolphins qui venaient jouer avec les vagues de notre voilier.

We had great time watching the dolphins playing with our boat. We saw them on and off along our sailing trip from Beaufort NC to Charleston.

We are now in St-Augustine, Florida. We arrived here November 11. We are here for a few days. It is a very old town full of historical properties. This reminds us a bit of Greek's Island and Spain. It is worth spending a few days here. Lots of neat shops and great restaurants. The weather is in the high low 20's during the day. A bit chilly during the night but it beats the cold back home.

Nous sommes présentement à St-Augustine, Floride. La température est excellente. C'est une très belle ville touristique pleine de belles boutiques et restaurants. Nous allons y passer quelques jours afin de la découvrir à fond.

Upon arriving in Charleston, you see these beautiful old homes all along the waterfront. Charleston is a beautiful town to visit.

We sailed directly from Beaufort NC to Charleston and it took us 29 hours. We sailed throughout the night with a beautiful sky full of stars and the moon shining over us. It was a warm nice lucky for us. We did not expect that. We arrived around noon the next day.

In the latest part of October, we were anchored in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Here's a picture from the top of the mast of our sailboat. Ginette was the lucky one to go up the mast that day to fix the navigational light and to do some other odd job.
